Column: What’s Brewing at Mission Coffee House

PLOVER — The Mission Coffee House would like to share recent accomplishments and upcoming holiday events that have marked a busy season.
In October, Mission Coffee House:
- Catered approximately 2,900 meals.
- Donated $3,000 to local missions, including the Ice Hawks, St. Stephen’s, and St. Bronislava churches.
- Sponsored Riggie Dabbs, a Youth Alive speaker, who presented at P.J. Jacobs and Ben Franklin schools on Oct. 29.
- Hosted six classes for local small businesses, featuring sessions on painting, glassmaking, cookie decorating, and yoga.
- Held an evening night market with over 30 local artisans.
- Roasted more than 2,600 pounds of coffee.
- Supported the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) at Stevens Point Area Senior High (SPASH) in launching an onsite coffee shop, the Panther Perk.
- Led the Mission Business Networking group, facilitating over $800,000 in closed business.
- Organized weekly bakery pop-ups on Tuesdays.
- Hosted its first wedding event.
As the holiday season approaches, Mission Coffee House invites patrons to preorder stocking stuffers, with 4-ounce bags of fresh roasted coffee available for $6 each, which includes a buy-one-get-one drink coupon.
For November, Mission Coffee House is planning two “Ultimate Date Nights” — with live music from Sara Crow and the Strangers on Nov. 9, and a comedy show by Subject to Change on Nov. 16.
In December, the coffee house will kick off the “12 Days of Christmas” celebration, offering special events and promotions throughout the month.
