Club Forest under new ownership; popular Plover business owners take the reins

TOWN OF PLOVER – Club Forest, a longtime fixture in the local bar scene, is now under new ownership.

Todd Booth and his wife, Simone, have sold the beloved neighborhood bar to local entrepreneurs Sarah Smith and Chris Adams. The transition is effective immediately, though regulars won’t notice any major changes.

“Club Forest will always hold a special place in our hearts,” Todd said. “We’ve poured so much love and time into this place, and we couldn’t imagine leaving it in better hands than Sarah and Chris. They understand what this bar means to people, and we know they’ll honor its legacy.”

Smith and Adams are well known in the area as the owners of Section 715 Throwing Co., a wildly popular ax-throwing business located at 3248 Mecca Drive in the village of Plover.

“We’re not here to change what works, we’re here to protect it,” Smith said, adding that the sale closed Tuesday morning. “This place has soul, and it’s our promise to keep everything you love about Club Forest alive and thriving.”

Club Forest, located at 1176 Club Forest Drive in the town of Plover, has long served as a gathering place known for its laid-back atmosphere, cold drinks, and strong community ties. The new owners say the bar will continue operating without interruption in service or staffing.

“We’re excited to meet everyone, to listen, to learn, and to keep the drinks flowing and the stories going,” Adams said.

Smith and Adams plan to bring back live music to the outdoor pavilion and introduce new events in the coming months. Updates will be posted on Club Forest’s Facebook page.
