Clark Hainzlsperger, 67

Clark Hainzlsperger, age 67, of Whiting died on November 28, 2021, surrounded by his family at Marshfield Hospital, due to recent health conditions.

A Celebration of Life Service will be at 1 p.m., with visitation from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. before the service on Thursday, Dec. 2 at the Shuda Funeral Chapel, 3200 Stanley St. in Stevens Point.

Clark was born September 13, 1954, to Leroy and Marthel “Muff” Hainzlsperger in Stevens Point. He attended SPASH and graduated in 1972. He then worked for Bill Richter Masonry, where he became a journeymen mason. Then he started his career at the Stevens Point Area Public School District and retired in 2012 as the head of delivery.

He married his high school sweetheart Debbie Borchardt on June 29, 1974. They resided in Whiting where they spent 47 wonderful years together and raised their family.

In his free time, he enjoyed going camping, deer hunting, riding his Harley, Rookies, watching movies, and the Packers. He especially enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, and friends.

He is survived by his wife Deb, son Jake (Shannon) Hainzlsperger, Plover, daughter Jessie (Andrew) Zuge, Stevens Point, grandchildren Eli and Elyse, two sisters, Rhonda Hainzlsperger, Kaye (Rick) Niemi, sisters-in-law, Nancy White, Shirley Gerzmehle, Bonnie Clarke, many nieces, and nephews, and his little buddy Ozzy.

He is preceded in death by his parents, in-laws Sonny and Marge Borchardt, and brothers-in-law Bill, Dave, and Mickey.

Clark was known for being a little rough around the edges, but had a huge heart and will truly be missed by many.
