Changes To DNR Aerial Imagery-based AGS Services
Wisconsin DNR GIS Section staff have created several new services that will supersede certain existing services.
This is part of an effort to improve standardization and discoverability of Wisconsin DNR aerial imagery-based GIS map and image services and their associated index services. The new services are available for users to switch to. The old services will be removed from the DNR GIS server the morning of Tuesday, Feb. 28.
Be aware that some services have been converted from one service format to another (i.e., from a dynamic or cached map service to an image service).
Some brand new services have been created as well to provide more year and format options.
A service crosswalk identifying the old services that will be removed and their new equivalents, along with a list of the brand-new services, can be found here.
