Chad M. Bielen, 47

Chad M. Bielen, age 47, of Stevens Point, passed away Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at Wausau Aspirus Hospital.

There will be a private family service. A Celebration of Life service for Chad will be held at a later date.

Chad was born May 19, 1974, the son of Ernest and Denice (Prondzinski) Bielen. He graduated from SPASH in 1992 and attended UWSP. Chad worked at Joe’s Bar for many years and also worked at Par Mar Security in Weston, he currently worked for Muzzy Broadcasting.

Chad had a big heart, he delivered holiday baskets for the Elk’s, and food baskets for the Moose Club, as he was a member of both organizations. Chad served as a poll worker in Portage County, an announcer at Zenoff Park, and was an avid Packer, Brewer, and Badger fan. Chad was a tenured Packer Season Ticket Holder for many years and enjoyed his Sunday voyages to Lambeau Field and many Badger games to Camp Randall Stadium.

Chad was an Eagle Scout and completed the Religious Award “Parvuli Dei.” He developed a green thumb and was very passionate about his vegetable and flower gardens.

Chad was very active in youth bowling leagues as he had a good number of trophies, pins, and patches. Chad was a fan of collectibles, as a child, he enjoyed model trains. This transitioned to sports later in life as Chad had a substantial collection of Packer Memorabilia, Brewer collectibles, and countless jerseys, attire, and cards. He also enjoyed going to casinos, whether it was locally or numerous Las Vegas trips and occasionally Wendover, Nevada. Chad took many baseball trips across the country, seeing MLB games in several states and stadiums.

He is survived by his parents Ernest and Denice, his special friend: Jodi Stroik, his brothers: Ryan (Amy) Bielen, Casey Bielen. His sister Amanda Bielen and six nephews: Noah, Seth, Zach, Jace, Pierce, Cavan; his niece Harper.  He was preceded in death by his sister Alison, all his grandparents, and his aunts: Sandy and Debbie.
