Centergy announces 2023 officers, board of directors

Centergy, a nonprofit regional marketing and economic development organization, this week announced the members to its 2023 Board of Directors.

These individuals will serve one-year terms as the organization completes strategic planning. Each of these Board members brings with them a unique perspective and the same unyielding drive to inspire greater economic growth throughout Central Wisconsin.

“Solutions to Central Wisconsin’s economic challenges start right here, right now,” said newly-elected Board Chair, Bobbi Damrow with Mid-State Technical College. “We cannot depend on others to be our solution providers. Centergy is collaborating with industry partners, regional organizations, education providers, and government to lay the groundwork for a vibrant and prosperous economy. I am privileged to serve as Centergy’s chair, bringing innovative and dedicated individuals to the table — if not us, who?”

As Centergy’s Board continues to serve and influence the organization, its membership is developing a diversity of backgrounds and skills to reflect the organization and those they serve.

“It truly takes all of us – businesses, nonprofits, chambers, municipalities, and individuals – to make a difference,” said Centergy’s President and CEO Angel Whitehead. “Centergy continues to serve its partners and investors by focusing on talent development, advocacy, investor relations, and business development. I look forward to the expertise these individuals will offer our region.”
