KOHLER — Amelia Castleberg scored all three goals for SPASH on Thursday to lead the Panthers to a 3-2 victory over Kohler in a nonconference matchup.
Castleberg netted the hat trick with help from an assist by Ellie Czaikowski, while Sophia Smith recorded 10 saves in goal for SPASH.
Despite the win, head coach Bill Loss said the team had room to improve.
“Not our best performance of the season for sure as we came out a little flat and struggled to get into a flow,” Loss said.
Kohler’s Cassidy Devine scored twice for the Blue Bombers, and Katie Tipton made eight saves in goal.
SPASH improves to 7-6 on the season. Kohler drops to 8-4-1.
The Panthers return to action Saturday when they host Chippewa Falls at 1 p.m. at Goerke Field.
