Castleberg leads SPASH past Ashland in nonconference soccer win

STEVENS POINT – Amelia Castleberg scored four goals to lead the SPASH girls soccer team to a 4-1 nonconference win over Ashland on Friday night at Goerke Field.

Jocelyn Trebiatowski added an assist for the Panthers, while Sophia Smith made four saves in goal to help secure the victory.

“I am very proud of our team and the progress we have made over the last week,” SPASH coach Bill Loss said. “The girls are starting to come together and have bought into how we need to play.”

SPASH (3-4) returns to action Tuesday when it hosts Wausau East at 7 p.m. at Goerke Field.
