Carol Ann S. Lorbiecki, 82
Carol Ann S. Lorbiecki, 82, of Bevent and formerly of Milwaukee, died Feb. 22, 2025, at Mount View Health Center (North Central Health Care).
Carol was born Nov. 22, 1942, in Milwaukee to Henry and Esther (née Boguslawske) Ufken. She grew up in West Allis, attended local schools and graduated from Nathan Hale High School.
After high school, she married Gerald “Jerry” Lorbiecki. They were married for 52 years and had two sons, later welcoming five grandsons and one bonus granddaughter. Carol worked for Briggs & Stratton for many years to help support her family.
She enjoyed basket making, baking, sewing and other crafts. She had a love for animals and cared for many over the years, especially her outdoor cats. She also enjoyed watching birds outside her home. While she valued time with her friends, her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was known as the family’s official “fish breader” for their homemade Friday fish frys and cherished a bucket list trip to Hawaii with her family.
She is survived by her son, Scott (Nicole) Lorbiecki, and their children, Wyatt, Eli and Noah; her daughter-in-law, Michelle Lorbiecki, and her children, Bryce and Brett Lorbiecki and Brook Perez. She is further survived by her nieces and nephews, Jenny, Holly, April, Neil and Casey.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry; her parents; her son, Brian Lorbiecki; and her sister, Ruth Ufken.
The family extends a special thank you to the staff at North Central Health Care, especially Jodi, for their care and support. They also thank the friends and family who have supported Carol and her family since August.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 1, at Shuda Funeral Chapel, 3200 Stanley St., Stevens Point. Sr. Mary Ellen Diermeier will officiate. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11:30 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will take place at 9 a.m. Monday, March 3, at St. Ladislaus Parish Cemetery in Bevent.
