The Portage Co. Business Council will feature coordinators from CAP Services during its November Business X-Change event.
PCBC’s Business X-Change meets regularly throughout the year. Members and non-members are welcome, though non-members will need to ask for a guest pass when they register. A Zoom link will be provided for anyone wishing to attend virtually, but coffee and pastries will be provided for those who attend in person.
There is no cost to attend but registration is required here.
Cassie Hytry, Skills Development Manager at CAP Services, will discuss the organization’s Skills Enhancement program. Lending Coordinator Charlie Krause will talk about the agency’s “Work-n-Wheels” program, and Housing Coordinator Bernice Kawleski will discuss home buying assistance and home rehabilitation.
Other topics of mental health, child and family development, Hmong family strengthening, and jobs and business development, will also be presented.
Each program will be explained by a CAP employee, including program qualifications and benefits available to area residents.
The program will be held 7:30-8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 10, at the Portage County Business Council office, 5501 Vern Holmes Dr. in Stevens Point.
