Bowl for Kids’ Sake offers groovy theme for ’20 fundraiser

Metro Wire Staff

Bowl for Kids’ Sake returns in February, and this year’s theme harkens back to the days of bellbottoms and tie-dye.

The biggest fundraiser of the year for Big Brothers Big Sisters will once again be held at Skipp’s Bowling Center, 2300 Strongs Ave., on Feb. 28 and 29.

Teams of four-to-six people need to raise $375 on pledges to participate, which also covers the cost of two games and shoe rentals. Participants will receive a t-shirt, and the event includes food, music, prizes, and raffles.

Bowling shifts are available at 6 and 8 p.m. on Feb. 28 or 6 p.m. on Feb. 29.

Costumes with a 1970s theme are encouraged.

Funds raised during the event will help benefits the one-to-one youth mentoring offered by BBBS. Registration is available at bigimpact.org.
