Books From the Heart program seeking book donations

It’s time for the annual Books from the Heart program.

The program, centered around Valentine’s Day, is a community-based book drive that works to provide a new book for every K-2 student in public and parochial schools of the Stevens Point area.

Now in its 23rd year, the program relies on donations.

Donations of new books, or cash, can be made through Feb. 12. Donations should be sent to “Books from the Heart,” c/o Sally Crane, J.F. Kennedy Elementary School, 616 West Second St., Junction City, Wis., 54443.
