The 2021 Point Bock Run will be held virtually due to COVID-19 gathering restrictions.

Online registration will be held on Jan. 1 at noon, as it is every year, but this year, no mass race will be held, according to Point Brewery.

Participants can run five miles between March 6 and 20, then post their times online, but no awards will be handed out this year.

The $20 registration still gets participants a Bock Run t-shirt, which can be picked up at the brewery, 2617 Water St. For a $25 fee, the t-shirt will be delivered.

During a normal year, the Bock Run features 2,000 runners of all ages, as well as thousands of onlookers along the route, which begins and ends at the brewery. The annual five-mile race is always held on the first Saturday in March.

The mission of the Point Bock Run is to “promote and support the sport of running and healthy lifestyles in Central Wisconsin.” More information about the Bock Run’s philanthropy can be found here: http://www.pointbockrun.com/mission.html.

Registration kicks off at noon on Jan. 1 here: http://getmeregistered.com/PointBockRun.
