STEVENS POINT — Allure Hair Design, located at 2625 Henrietta St., held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Oct. 1 to mark the salon’s rebranding and new product line launch.
Owner Kim Birch, who purchased the current building in 2017 after moving from downtown in 2020, said the salon has transitioned to using Lanza products, replacing its previous product line. Representatives from Lanza were also on-site to provide training and support for the transition.
“I am very blessed to have an amazing staff here with me,” Birch said. “It’s going to be a fun and exciting week for us as a team.”
Sarah Agena, an ambassador with the Portage County Business Council, welcomed attendees and congratulated Birch and her team on the rebranding effort.
“We’re here to help whenever you need anything,” Agena said, adding that the council’s ambassadors are a resource for local businesses.
Michael Witte, executive director of the Portage County Business Council, praised the salon’s rebranding as an important contribution to the community.
“One of the things we like to see is not just new businesses, but existing businesses finding new ways to grow,” Witte said. “If there’s anything we can do to help your business become more well-known in the community, please let us know.”
The Portage County Business Council’s ambassador club presented Allure Hair Design with a plaque recognizing the salon’s contribution to the growth and prosperity of the county.
