Aspirus expands pain management services to Stevens Point

Stevens Point — Aspirus Health is expanding its pain management services to Stevens Point.

Nicole Wolfgram, APNP, now cares for patients every Tuesday at Aspirus Stevens Point Clinic-Illinois Avenue. Wolfgram is a nurse practitioner with several years of experience specializing in pain management.

Beginning June 25, Dr. Kris Ferguson will also treat patients in Stevens Point on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month. Dr. Ferguson is board-certified in both anesthesiology and pain management.

Pain management specialists evaluate the source and type of pain and address it with a wide range of treatments and procedures. The type of pain may be sudden, such as those caused by a traumatic event, or it may be long-lasting and chronic, like headaches or neck/back pain.

In addition to seeing patients in Stevens Point, Wolfgram, and Dr. Ferguson care for patients at Aspirus Riverview Clinic in Wisconsin Rapids and Aspirus Langlade Hospital Pain Clinic in Antigo.
