Arts Walk season opens Friday in downtown Stevens Point

STEVENS POINT — Downtown Stevens Point will fill with artwork, artists and shoppers on Friday as the 2026 Arts Walk season gets underway.

The free event runs from 5-8 p.m. on June 5 and features more than 40 local artists displaying and selling their work throughout the downtown district. Additional Arts Walk events are scheduled for July 24 and Sept. 11.

Visitors are encouraged to start at the Annette and Dale Schuh Riverfront Arts Center, 1200 Crosby Ave., where the current “Fantastical” exhibit will be on display. From there, attendees can stroll downtown, meet artists, browse a variety of handmade creations and support local businesses.

The event stretches from the Riverfront Arts Center through the downtown square and along Main Street, with artists set up both outdoors and inside participating businesses.

Among the artists taking part are Kelly Ackley, Mark Andraska, Elisha Blanchard, Tyler Debelak, Kacey Hawley, Jordan Schilling, Toni Starr, Tracy Vanesky, Ravi Barkey, Carol Grubba, Michael Cook, Ashley Megal, Hannah Vale, Alexandra Sosin, Marsha Haynes, Ava Sinnott and Sadie Smith.

Downtown businesses hosting artists include Fall Line Outfitters, Polito’s Pizza, Radio Kaos, Bound to Happen Books, Kindred Spirit Books, Lilly & Vine, Sojourn Books, Ash Tree Arts, Wild Eyed Beauty, Bill’s Pizza, Laab Music, Blue Bead, Freeman Tattoo, JadeCo Hobby and Joe’s Bar.

Organized by the Riverfront Arts Center, Arts Walk is an annual event that brings local artists and community members together while helping draw visitors to downtown businesses.

For those who enjoy browsing local art, meeting creators and spending an evening downtown, Friday’s event offers plenty of opportunities to do all three.
