Amherst company to host ‘Plant Your Own 2022’ workshops

Metro Wire Staff

Antiquity Acres will hold two more weekends of “Plant Your Own 2022” workshops in March.

Attendees will have the opportunity to design and plant their own hanging baskets, mixed planters, and containers.

There is no charge to attend the workshop, but registration is required and attendees will need to purchase plants, containers, and other materials they will use, which will be available onsite. A horticulturist will be available to make suggestions and offer assistance.

Once planted, attendees can leave their plants in the Antiquity Acres greenhouses, until they are ready to be picked up in the spring, at no charge.

The workshops will be held at 9 a.m., noon, and 3 p.m., on March 19-20, and March 26-27. A mask will be required for those attending the 9 a.m. workshop on March 20. Attendees can participate in multiple workshops if they chose.

Space is limited, so anyone interested in attending is encouraged to register as soon as possible.

Groups of 15 or more and bus tours are welcome, but Antiquity Acres is asking those groups to call ahead and reserve a special time to attend a workshop.

Antiquity Acres is located at 8636 County Road B in Amherst. To register, call 715-572-8562 or click here.
