‘A Christmas Celebration’ planned for Jensen Center

The Lettie W. Jensen Memorial Community Center in Amherst will host a special Christmas show in December.

Organized by Amherst residents Janet Glodowski, Mary Anderson, and Mariah Singer-Brown, “A Christmas Celebration” will feature performers of all ages and abilities with a series of singing, dancing, and instrumentation performances.

Showtimes are scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 11 at 2 and 5 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 12 at 1 and 4 p.m. in the Jensen Community Center Theater, 487 N. Main St., Amherst.

A bake sale, basket raffle, bar drinks, and craft sale will be available one hour prior to and following each of the performances.

Proceeds from the show will help fund wireless microphones for use in future shows at the Jensen Center.

Tickets are $10 per person. Children age 4 and under are free.
