2024 Celebrate Amherst to feature popular band Road Trip

The Tomorrow River Business Association has announced the band for the 2024 Celebrate Amherst event, scheduled for Sept. 7.

Road Trip, a band from the Oshkosh area, will perform at the event, which will be held on Main Street from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. The rain location for the concert will be at the Amherst Opera House.

The association is seeking sponsorships to help cover the increased costs of hosting the well-known band. Sponsorship levels include Bronze ($250), Silver ($500), Gold ($750), and Platinum ($1,000). Contributions will be acknowledged on social media posts, printed materials, and event signage. Interested sponsors can complete and mail a form to TRBA, PO Box 223, Amherst, WI 54406.

The event will run from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and feature craft vendors, a classic car show, children’s activities, a silent auction, and a fire truck and emergency vehicle display. The Central Wisconsin Ford Model A Club rides will be located at the Amherst Opera House. Food and drink will be available, and admission is free.
