Sunday morning power outages reported across the area

More than 1,500 Wisconsin Public Service customers lost power Sunday morning.
In the south Stevens Point and Whiting area, just under 1,100 customers lost power at 10:09 a.m., according to WPS. Power should be restored at about 12:15 p.m.
About 90 customers in Park Ridge lost power at about 9:20 a.m. Crews from WPS are currently onsite and have given an estimated restoration time of 11:30 a.m.
A little over 500 customers in Plover are also without power. No estimated restoration time was immediately available.
It was not immediately known what caused the outages.
