The Metro Wire was born in November 2017 after our staff positions were eliminated from another local publication. We are the only locally-owned and operated daily news source left in Portage Co.

Our trained news staff provides real, in-depth stories about our local communities — stories you won’t find anywhere else — that focus on local government, crime and courts, business, and community.
