Crash: Police cited a 34-year-old woman for failure to keep her vehicle under control following a two-vehicle crash near Hwy. 10 and County Trunk J at 2:05 p.m.

Mailbox Fatality: Someone reported a damaged mailbox on the 500 block of Main St. in Junction City at 2:11 p.m.

Fake Money: A caller from the 3600 block of Main St. called police to report counterfeit 20$ bills were being passed at a business there.

Busted: A 49-year-old man was arrested following a traffic stop near Heffron St.

Fighting Over Wine: Police were called to the 1700 block of Sprice St. after a caller reported two women there, 67 and 30, got into a physical altercation over wine. The older woman struck the younger women “several times in the face”, and was arrested for disorderly conduct.

Jan. 1

Drunk Driving: Police arrested a 21-year-old man during a North Reserve St. traffic stop at 12:58 a.m. on charges of possession of THC, bail-jumping, operating while intoxicated, second offense, operating with a positive blood alcohol content, and failure to keep his vehicle under control.

Bar Fight: Deputies were called to the 100 block of Main St. in Almond at 1:37 a.m. after someone reported a bar fight involving almost a dozen suspects and witnesses.

Welfare Check: Deputies went to the home of a 24-year-old woman on State St. in Rosholt after she called 911 to complain she couldn’t afford to pay her WPS bill.

Assault: Police were called to investigate an assault reported on the 900 block of Main St. at 12:54 a.m.

Driving in the Dark: A 29-year-old man was arrested for his second OWI offense while driving without his headlights on near Clark and Phillips streets at 1:28 a.m.

Disorderly: A 29-year-old woman was arrested for obstructing an officer and disorderly conduct after she refused to stop fighting with a 27-year-old man on the 900 block of Main St. at 2:58 a.m.

OWI: Police arrested a 36-year-old woman for her first OWI offense after she was observed operating left of center near Division St. and Fourth Ave. at 11:17 p.m.
