Letter: Gebert Will ‘Build Community Through Service’
To the Editor—
As a 35-year resident of Portage County, I have worked with Jami Gebert on many levels.
I first met her programming for Main Street Stevens Point, and knew then her enthusiasm and energy would be a valuable asset for years to come.
I am voting for Jami because of her commitment to “building community through service.” I have first-hand experience through her work with me for Active Portage County, Walk Wisconsin and Salvation Army Hope Center.
“Serving leadership” is not a buzzword to her, it is a core principle…putting the needs of others first, then helping people perform and develop.
Jami Gebert is committed to Portage County and will focus on what is important…quality of life, listening to us, focusing on the long-haul fiscally and retaining and growing our workforce.
February 20, vote Jami Gebert for Portage County Executive.
