CREATE Portage County will host its first-annual Holiday Maker’s Market on Dec. 12.

Held in partnership with Solin Tree Farm at Central Rivers Farmshed, the outdoor market will be held from noon to 3 p.m. in the former Shopko parking lot in downtown Stevens Point.

The market is free to attend and offers 20 local vendors selling “festive décor, food and drinks, hand-crafted apparel, woodworks, ceramics, 3D printed items, jewelry, and additional seasonal goods,” according to a news release from CREATE.

The Solin Tree Farm will also be selling Christmas trees, and downtown businesses will offer special sales on the day of the market.

Vendors and attendees are required to wear face coverings during the market, and attendees should follow additional recommended public health guidelines including staying socially distant while in the market.

Parking will be available in the Shopko lot and throughout downtown, and signage for the market will be posted.
