Firefighter’s Union Endorses Holman for County Exec

To the Editor-

Stevens Point Fire Fighters IAFF Local 484 would like to announce our endorsement of Chris Holman for Portage County Executive.

This spring it’s important to vote for our values, many of which Chris holds in high regard. All Local 484 members are citizens of Portage County and share with you the need for the county to flourish and grow. This election Chris Holman is the candidate that will provide us that growth and opportunity.

Chris brings fresh ideas to the various issues of the county. Chris can pull from his many experiences at the local, state, and federal levels to see the bigger picture. High-level experience does not mean big politics; Chris will focus on Portage County values.

Chris has a formidable reputation for non-partisan projects that support families and businesses alike.

Chris can put others’ agendas aside to do what is right for the County. Local government affects every Portage County community, big and small, which Chris considers without bias. Chris is an advocate for public safety advancement in the County. Chris has met personally with county emergency organizations with research in hand that supports a strong public safety system.

He has invested his time and effort in learning the intricacies of the current system to ensure the best emergency care for the citizens.

Stevens Point Fire Fighters IAFF Local 484 is proud to endorse Chris Holman for Portage County Executive. Portage County has a long history of putting citizens first, a tradition that Chris will protect.

We encourage you to vote in the primary election on Feb. 20th, 2018 for Chris Holman.
