DNR offers certificates for successful first-time hunters, trappers

Metro Wire Staff

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is recognizing hunters who recently experienced their first hunt or harvest.

Certificates are being offered for first-time deer, bear, turkey, bobcat, otter, and other hunters/trappers. New hunters, or their parents, can fill out a form on the DNR’s website, and will then be emailed a printable certificate.

Applicants will be asked to submit a photo of their experience.

Once the form is filled out, a printable certificate will be emailed.

Additional information and forms can be found here.
