‘Crafternoon’ program coming to Plover, Almond libraries

Metro Wire Staff

The public is invited to join fellow crafters for a monthly program at the Plover and Almond branch libraries.

The October program is called “Soft Sculpture Pumpkins” which the library is calling “the perfect fall table centerpiece”.

Crafternoon will take place on the third Wednesday of the month at 2 p.m. at the Plover branch, with the next program on Oct. 17.

The program is held in Almond on the second Wednesday of each month at 12:30 p.m., beginning Oct. 10.

Participants will be guided by the library’s “crafters-on-staff” to create their own seasonal project to take home. According to branch librarian Laura Fuller, the library will provide all supplies needed.

The program is free but registration is required. Please call the Plover Branch Library at (715) 341-4007 or the Almond Branch Library at (715) 366-2151.
