City clerk, treasurer announce new walk-in hours

New public hours have been announced for the Stevens Point City Clerk and comptroller/treasurer’s offices, effective Nov. 23, and until further notice during the coronavirus pandemic.

Walk-in service at both city offices are available Tuesdays and Thursdays, 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and again from 1-4 p.m.

Both offices are closed for walk-in services on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Both offices are still available by phone during normal business hours, Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The clerk’s office can be reached at 715.346.1569.

The comptroller/treasurer’s office can be reached at 715.346.1573. A drop-box for payments is also available outside of the courthouse at the Strongs Ave. entrance. Payments can also be made online or sent in via U.S. Mail to the Stevens Point Treasurer’s Office, 1515 Strongs Ave., Stevens Point, WIis. 54481.
