Annual Memorial Day services planned by Plover American Legion, VFW

Veterans Service Organizations in Plover have announced the timeline for their annual Memorial Day program.

The program, which is open to the public, includes multiple stops at cemeteries and memorials throughout the village on Monday, May 28.

The program begins at the McDill Cemetery on County Trunk HH at 8 a.m., then makes the following stops:

8:30 a.m. Liberty Corners Cty Trk J
8:50 a.m. Maine South Hoover Ave
9:10 a.m. Korean War Memorial Lake Pacawa in Plover
9:40 a.m. Restlawn Cemetery St. Hwy 54 in Wood County
10 a.m. Meehan St. Hwy 54 and Meehan Drive
10:20 a.m. St. Bronislava St. Hwy 54 in Plover
10:40 a.m. Plover River Drive in Plover
11 a.m. Village Memorial, off Post Road at Village Hall, Plover

The ceremonies will conclude at 11 a.m. at the Veterans Memorial Park in Plover.

A luncheon will follow at noon in the Plover VFW Clubhouse, 2970 Hickory Dr.

The program is sponsored by Plover VFW Post 10262 and Plover American Legion Post 543.
