Ambrose Frank Shuda, 90

Ambrose Frank Shuda, age 90, of Plover passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, July 12, 2019.

A Mass of a Christian Burial will be held for Ambrose at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 16, 2019, at St. Bronislava Catholic Church—Plover. Rev. Edward Shuttleworth will officiate.

Friends and family may gather to share memories on Tuesday at the church from 9:30-10:45 a.m. Burial with full military honors will be at the parish cemetery. Shuda Funeral Service is assisting the family.

Ambrose was born on May 16, 1929, the son of Frank and Victoria (Petrick) Shuda in the Town of Hull. He attended St. Casimir Catholic school. Ambrose worked as a carpenter in Stevens Point until he served our country in the Army from 1952-1954 when he was honorably discharged. After serving in our military, Ambrose moved to Milwaukee where he worked as a foreman for Federal Manufacturing Company until retirement. After retiring, Ambrose moved to Plover where he spent his time enjoying the hobbies he loved; polka music, going to local picnics, concertina music, and repairing bicycles.

Ambrose is survived by his two daughters: Pamela Rageth and Mary Shuda; three grandchildren: Lisa (Chris) Conell, Susan (Randy) Pettroff, and David (Danielle) Rageth, Jr.; and four great-grandchildren: Alison, Lily, Hailee, and Darieon. He is further survived by his special sweetheart Lillian Babiak, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son John; two brothers, Conrad and Robert; two sisters, Irene and Evelyn; and son-in-law David Rageth, Sr.
